Relatable.
The only part of me that I mostly actually miss is the "delusionally" optimistic one...
It was "slapped" out of me quite early in life.
The less you know...
I guess that's kind of how it works for everyone more or less...
All this impossible to recreate, delicious delusion of optimism...
The simple charm of it makes everything come true...
I'm afraid it's probably gone for good by now.
The wonder has left me...
Or at least I mostly feel like it has.
I have my moments... But...
It's mostly... just me here.
An existence a little too litteral for my liking.
But here we are... Aren't we?
Dry as the Sahara desert, defeated by my one mortal enemy, the one and only, the epitome of my complete disapproval , my kryptonite :
Pessimistic Realism.
The real Trojan horse.
The more I fight it, the more apparent it becomes.
Basically, I 'm toast. ✌🏻
(Delicious toast,yes 😎but... still...🥪)
All this, only to say :
The reason why I HATE plain realism so much is because I know what it can do.
It's more prosaic and drab than an arlekin of plain facts.
A dry lake with dead fish.
So... the actual reason why I hate realism is...
Well...
It is because I am one of the biggest pessimistic realists out there.
The more I age, the more I am actively trying to desperately cancel my subscription to it.
It gets you nowhere...
I promise...
It's all bollocks, anyway...
All of it...
So, if you can naturally be magical...
Babe... Shut your ears and go be magical.... Protect it at all costs... The heck with them all....!
Could you please, for the love of God, do that for me but more importantly for you...?
And never listen to their judgment on your magical world and " unrealistic " aspirations...
As vulnerably pure as they are...
They are the doorways of wonder...
I wish I could return to it one day, myself...
