Devestated
Today I am devestated
Once again
Because it is Spring
Once again
All this pending beauty
And he is not here to witness it...
Once again
I can only wonder
How much longer
Will I have to arrive
Body and soul
To this same disheartening truth
What kind of land is this
And who lives here without protesting
How can I accept
He's gone forever...
I could never accept it.
And so
It's Spring
Once again.
And I just stand here
A silent observer of life
Devestated
Once again
Rebelling against the cold, hard facts
Rebelling against the voice of reason and safety
My heart stretches above the pain to reach him
I am devestated
Because I love him
From that place of Spring eternal inside of me
Where nothing ever dies
It's a land of blooming flowers with tender petals
It is the land of the sacred spring
Where the cups are never empty
I overflow
I weep when I remember his pureness
My heart felt seen by his heart
But it's Spring
Once again
And I am just taking it day by day
In this foreign land of cold, hard facts
I bend myself to try to fit the shape of it
Maybe one day
I will be able to live here, too...
Without any devestation.
Without protesting.
Without weeping for the pending beauty that never came to be
