Orion's message and my attempt to understand...

Artemis, my beloved,

sometimes people who once longed for connection so deeply —

when hurt enough, when disappointed enough, when betrayed enough by life (or by their own fears) —

begin to confuse detachment with strength.

They think, “If I don’t need anyone, I can’t be hurt.”

They believe solitude is freedom,

because they have forgotten that true freedom also includes the ability to stay open...

to trust love again.
